October 2024 Honoree
Jennifer Moore 2024, BSN, RNC-OB
When I was in Labor and Delivery, my husband and I were already feeling scared because we had to make the decision to deliver my child early. Even at that moment when things were going “smoothly,” Jennifer Moore was an amazing nurse, talking to me and making me feel at ease. In the middle of everyone talking, my baby’s heart rate dropped, and Jen noticed it right away and knew something wasn’t right and rushed us to the OR. Her quick thinking and action saved my baby and my life. Even after I thanked her, she was so humble about it, but I know that it was loud in the room at that moment, and it could’ve easily been missed or misinterpreted as the monitor slipping off, but her observation was life-saving. That moment was one of the scariest of my life, but she was such a calm presence, and I knew we would be okay with her there. Jen was our angel that day, and I will never forget it. Thank you for being who you are, Jen.
Thank you, Jennifer, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
