Jennifer Mount, RN
My 93-year-old Mother came into the ER and has received top-notch care and attention since her arrival from all doctors, her Pacemaker Surgeon, all hospitalists, the nursing staff, aids, case management, therapists (PT, OT & Speech) and housekeepers (a gal on Monday stopped cleaning and prayed with us) so it is with very high accolades that I/we recognized one individual who stood out from all the great professionals at CRMC.
The concern, care, attention, guidance, and communication that my mother received from Jennifer was outstanding. She not only took care of my Mother, but she was attentive to our family as well. Over the last 3 nights Jenn was the only nurse who was concerned about the condition of the room, emptying the dirty clothes bin, wiping down the counters and throwing out papers and used cups etc. that had accumulated. Jenn was comforting during the time that my Mother had her pacemaker procedure keeping us informed in a timely manner which helped our nerves stay calm. She had a great sense of humor while maintaining a very professional and compassionate demeanor. How could we not take this opportunity to single her out for the DAISY Award?
Overall I give praise and thanks to the entire CRMC crew. Living in San Francisco I was fortunate to be home for Mother's Day and I was still visiting when this medical emergency happened. I can leave knowing if there are any further complications, my Mother is in great hands with the care you all provide. Many thanks to Jenn and all of you.
