Jennifer Myers, RN

Jennifer is an outstanding nurse. She has taken the lead on a pilot program in our office to provide an abstract nurse visit for all pregnant patients. This visit allows patients to be seen early in their pregnancy before their new OB appointment. Patients benefit from a wealth of education regarding their pregnancy. Since mid-February Jennifer has completed 40 nurse abstract visits, developed the workflow, edited our welcome letter, and will be educating nurses in other offices throughout our service line on how to complete a nurse abstract visit. This program will serve all our OB patients and allow them to develop an early relationship with our staff and ease any concerns early in their pregnancy. The success of this program would not be possible without Jennifer's hard work.
