I came to the hospital since my water broke. The next few hours were really difficult. When I would get a contraction, my baby's heart rate would drop. The nurses would have me lay on my left side to see if anything would improve. After several times switching sides things did not get better; that's when Jen walked into my room for the first time. She told the nurses to prep me for a C-Section and to call the doctor. She explained to me that they will be moving really fast since the baby's heart rate is not improving. The doctor walked in and said that the baby's heart rate was improving.
However, Jen told him that they were prepping me for a C-Section. When we got into the operating room the doctor kept disagreeing with the nurses on their decision making. Even so, Jen stood her ground; her main concern was the wellbeing of me and my baby. After everything was done Jen took me back to my room. I am truly thankful for her.
