I would like to nominate my unit coordinator because she is so much more than just a leader; she is the heart of our unit. Jennifer holds us together through the chaos, the busy shifts, and the hard days. No matter how stressful things get, she is always there—checking in, offering support, and making sure we’re okay, not just as staff but as people.

Personally, she has gone above and beyond for me. Whether it's taking the time to ask how I’m doing or simply being available to talk, she creates a space where I feel heard, valued, and supported. Her door is always open, and her presence alone brings calm and reassurance. She truly cares about each member of this team. You can see it in the way she leads—with compassion, integrity, and genuine kindness. She is a constant source of encouragement and strength, and honestly, she is a big reason why I come to work every day, even when things get overwhelming. Her impact on this unit is immeasurable. She doesn’t just help manage the team—she inspires it.
