My 94 year old mother was hospitalized with congestive heart failure for 14 days. She was on a BIPAP machine for 4 nights and had a very hard time. Then she had night terrors and panic attacks for several nights. I was here with her overnight. Jennifer was her nurse and was extraordinary. In addition to her technical skills she comforted my mother, calmed her, exhibited great kindness, and empathy. She constantly checked on her and made my mother feel safe. She was with us for several rotations during the two weeks and we were delighted to have her back. My mom has pulled through and goes home tomorrow. She calls Jennifer "Her Angel". Jennifer helped her thorough a very dark time and is a factor in her survival. She truly helped "heal her mind and spirit".
