I want to thank Jennifer Pavon for her compassionate care of my dad. While he was in the hospital she provided highly skilled care for him and brightened his days. I think she had some important conversations with him, for which I am very grateful, and I know he appreciated. As it turns out, my dad is really ill, and after about a week in the hospital with no improvement, he chose to go home to hospice and died peacefully with our family just a few days later. I am so grateful for Jennifer's very gentle shoulder when it was clear things were changing. I still fall back on some of our conversations, and the great kindness she extended both to him and to me, and thank her for it all. You may not get many letters appreciating nursing care at the end of life, but I want to add that in her down to earth manner, it eased my burden that Jennifer did not shy away from what became difficult discussions. Jennifer's care touched my family, comforted my dad and helped us all. I can only offer my deepest admiration and grateful thanks.
