While Jen is always a positive role model for other nurses and an exemplary team member, today she went far above and beyond. A patient with severe lung disease presented for surgery without their oxygen. Initial O₂ sats 80-82%. Although this was not her patient, she recognized the need and anticipated potential discharge issues. She immediately began working on a solution to obtain oxygen for this patient's transfer home and ultimately was successful, saving the day and letting us proceed with surgery!
