I nominated Jennifer Strickland for a DAISY Award due to her excellence in clinical judgment and her unwavering patient advocacy. She prevented a premature discharge in a patient with gangrenous cholecystitis that was yet to be recognized. She directly improved this patient's outcome. This is truly an exemplary nurse.
