Jen Redman was extraordinarily helpful in all aspects of my elderly Mom's care at the hospital, including clipping her toenails, washing her hair, talking to her in the most gracious way (since she was scared and has dementia). Her support to family members, going through a lot of grieving and uncertainty was exemplary and personally helped me deal with the very difficult situation of seeing my parents suffering, and facing the end of my parent's freedom and independence.

While my dad was visiting my mom in the hospital, I noticed he was exhibiting stroke symptoms, and I told Jen, who immediately came in the room with a wheelchair, got him in a chair, and efficiently wheeled him down to the ER with me, while starting a stroke assessment. After my Dad was admitted, and my siblings and I spent several days going back and forth between my parents' two hospital rooms, Jen was the super glue that held everything together, making suggestions to make their care more effective and pleasant, finding us a Johnny Cash CD and CD player (the only thing my mom was interested in doing), arranging and supporting my dad telling my mom that he had had a stroke and was in the hospital too, and coordinating care and information among so many people.

Jen made the worst week of our lives ever so much better. Just knowing she was there taking care of everything made me feel like I could go grab food or step out to take a phone call without worrying. My mom was in the very best possible hands, thanks to Jen. Although we were relieved to leave the hospital, I felt like I was leaving a good friend behind. I just can't thank her enough.

Thank you, Jennifer, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
