Every time I see that Jen has signed on to my patients I am excited. Kids with big behaviors and mental illness can create a difficult environment in the ED. Not only does she treat every one of the patients with the love and care that you would want for your child, but she goes into their room every 30-60 minutes to make sure they feel connected and cared for. Jen's exemplary care is even more spectacular when patients are escalating or have been boarding for hours and have become restless. She is personable, loving, and a wonderful colleague. I am so lucky to be able to work with Jen. She is the bright spot on any shift.
