Jenny exemplifies everything it means to be a DAISY Nurse. She is hard-working, dedicated, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She is one of the kindest souls there is. She always shows up with such heart, positivity, and a smile. Whether she is your bedside nurse, charge nurse, resource nurse, or your Clinical Education Specialist, she truly puts her heart and soul into everything she does. She has been a nurse on the unit for going on thirteen years and in those years, has left her mark in all that she has done. She is one of the most involved nurses on the unit, functioning as a charge liaison, a CNIV continuously working on her green belt, co-chair of clinical care council, among many other things she has done for level 9. Jenny functioned in the interim CES position for over a year during a record time of RN turnover, onboarding a significant number of new grad nurses and supporting Level 9 from an education standpoint. After the CES role was permanently filled, she gladly jumped right back into bedside nursing without complaint and continues to provide patients with exceptional care. It is a true blessing to work with Jenny. She is a strong leader, a compassionate nurse, a kind educator, and an incredible mentor to look up to and lean on. Jenny Roberts exemplifies the core values and mission of Children’s Hospital Colorado. She is one in a million.
