I had the privilege to work alongside Jen one day with a very complex cardiac ECMO* patient in the CVICU. Throughout the day, she exemplified an "above and beyond" work ethic. By chance, there were many procedures performed on this patient that day. Jen accepted these unexpected tasks and the associated challenges with a smile. She handled everything very calmly and professionally, and with sound clinical judgment. Our patient and the family were lucky to have a nurse like Jen. They received exceptional, compassionate care. I was impressed with her ability to take every unexpected hurdle in stride in order to provide the best care.
