March 2026 Honoree
Jennifer Schilbe, RN
I’ve had the same PCP for 30 years. My daughter has been going to him for 24 years. Our doctor’s nurse is Jennifer Schilbe. She has been the “Go-To” person the whole time. She’s the most caring compassionate person you could ever hope to meet.
My daughter has been fighting multiple diseases and many other major health problems for the last 10 years of her life. Jennifer has been instrumental in that treatment! Hundreds of messages, phone calls, and research all to keep my baby girl alive! She would advise me how to treat, how to give medicines and when to call 911.
Even after my daughter died, she was helping. I asked her to tell the doctor that she had passed away and she explained that the doctor was out of the country with his family—but she found a way. He was traveling back to the states but as soon as he landed in Miami, he called me at home to let me know how sorry he was.
To this day she is still helping the doctor to take care of me and each time I thank the Lord that she is one of the people he put in my life. Thank you, Jennifer, for all those many years of dedication of serving and helping all of us who were lucky enough to know you.
