Professor Scroggie is an extremely caring and thoughtful mentor and has provided me with invaluable guidance in the last few months. She perceptively identifies students' needs and addresses them in supervision and through supplemental resources. She also has a way of recognizing students' strengths and reinforcing them. I feel respected by her. Professor Scroggie consistently demonstrates excellence both as a faculty member and as a person. She has taken the time to truly know me, and I feel both validated and understood by her. She also never misses an opportunity to use her voice in advocating for those who are the most marginalized in our society, impressing upon us our responsibility to create an equitable healthcare environment for all patients.
