Jennifer Serafin, NP

We had a member who was a renal transplant patient who was in need of a monoclonal injection after testing positive for COVID-19. They did not have the means of transportation to come to the hospital. We spent hours trying to find staff to volunteer to help with this, even reaching out to Home Health. Jennifer Serafin, NP for Palliative Care came through and said she could provide this care in the member's home. With a few more things out of the ordinary to coordinate, Jennifer was able to pick up the medication from our pharmacy, communicate with the non-English speaking member and administer the monoclonal injection. Providing this treatment to our member was only made possible by Jennifer!
