Jen has motivated us as leaders to achieve better outcomes for our patients and our staff.
I am blessed to have Jen in my life.   When I walked into labor and delivery for the first time in 2011, Jen was the only person who didn’t run away from me.   From that moment 12 years ago to now, and through many life trials and blessings, Jen has always chosen to walk toward the challenge rather than run away.

Jennifer is a perfect example of a bedside RN who grew and developed into an amazing nurse leader.  She is dedicated, motivated, and passionate about everything she touches, from laboring moms, to educating the perinatal staff, and now helping us fulfill our journey to Magnet.

When Jen took over the MPD role, she did so humbly and with an open mind to learn all she could from those who have gone before us.  Jen would then put her own “spin and touch” on every step of the process to ensure it reflected the true Fontana nursing culture.  Jen’s work ethic, dedication, attention to detail, and desire to ensure the best product is second to none.

Jen is a transformational leader who always puts herself first and always shares the “Why”. Jen has motivated us as leaders to achieve better outcomes for our patients and our staff.

Jen is a leader of influence, who does not like the spotlight or attention but leads through example. When I think of the traits of an accountable leader, I see Jen’s face.

Her leadership has propelled FMC to move forward in our Magnet journey through the challenges of a pandemic. Her leadership allowed other nurse leaders to be able to focus on the pandemic without fear that our Magnet Journey would suffer setbacks.

I have no doubt that our journey, learnings, and progress would not be where it is today, if not for Jen and her leadership.
