She made me feel less scared and advocated for me when I didn't know what to do.
I had my first appointment for antibiotics after visiting the ED for infected wounds. Jennifer greeted me with a bright smile and immediately put me at ease. I explained how confused I was and how hard of a time I was having getting an appointment at the wound care clinic. Due to this, my dressing hadn't been changed since I was in the emergency room several days prior. After administering my medication and explaining how to navigate the appointments my treatment required, Jennifer reached out to the wound care clinic for me.

When I arrived for my next appointment, I discovered Jennifer had not only made an appointment for me with the wound care clinic, she arranged for a wound care nurse to meet me in the Infusion Center! After my antibiotics, the wound care nurse met with me and explained the wound care process and reviewed all appointments with me. She also performed my wound care in the Infusion Center, saving me from a trip to another office. The wound care nurse provided me with extra supplies to care for myself in between appointments. This left me feeling so confident in my care. I have had a wonderful experience with Bon Secours, but Jennifer is the best nurse that I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. She made me feel less scared and advocated for me when I didn't know what to do. I'm so grateful for meeting Jennifer, and I want her to receive the recognition she deserves. She coordinated my wound care appointments when I was unable to do it myself, and I'm sure saved me from another visit to the Emergency Room or worse.

Jennifer has even inspired me to name my princess tattoo after her! I'm forever grateful!
