I had the opportunity to be treated by Jennifer in the ambulatory surgery center on two separate occasions. During both surgeries, visitors were not allowed due to the ongoing pandemic. I was clearly nervous about my surgeries and anxious about being alone. Jennifer went out of her way to ensure that I felt safe, cared for, and knowledgeable about my procedure and discharge instructions. She has an excellent bedside manner that makes the patient feel as though they are involved in their care and comfortable with the entire process.

Additionally, she contacted a family member and clearly explained the process a second time to ensure that I had proper care. I knew after my first surgery that I wanted to nominate Jennifer for her compassion, not only for me as a patient but as a person. What amazed me even further is that she recognized me on my second procedure date, three months later. Prior to my second procedure, I told my family that I hoped I would be cared for by her.

Jennifer is an amazing addition to the Bethesda West ambulatory care team and went above and beyond during both of my experiences there. I would not hesitate to seek services from this facility in the future because of how cared for I felt throughout the entire process.
