Jennifer Thacker, RN

I’m 66 and afraid of hospitals and needles. I was so lucky to have had Jennifer for so many of my days in the hospital. I had no clue what questions to ask doctors or what was going on in my steps in the hospital. Jennifer not only nursed me and took excellent care of me; she also guided me on what to ask each doctor who treated me. She soothed me when I was scared about my life. I have no family left and no friends. She made me feel like I had just made an instant friend. No matter how tired she must be, you would never know it. She has taken excellent care of me. Made me feel calm during my severe health issues. She is my hero. I believe she is the best candidate for a DAISY Award. She made a difference in my life I’ll never forget. Beyond the call of duty.
