Jennifer was recognized by her peers for consistently demonstrating teamwork, compassion, and commitment. Jennifer is highly admired by her peers and receives daily accolades regarding her outstanding performance and support that she provides her patients and her peers.
A few weekends ago, one of Jennifer's peers was struggling with a difficult wound vac and was unable to obtain a seal after spending a long period of time securing the drape. The nurse began to panic as this was her first visit of the day which would lead to a large delay in seeing her patients already scheduled for the day. Although Jennifer had a day off, this nurse called Jennifer who immediately picked up her phone and informed the nurse that she was grocery shopping. The nurse explained the situation and Jennifer stated, "I will be right there to assist you." Within 10 minutes, Jennifer had arrived at the patient's home and was able to assist her peer and resolve the issue with the wound vac, which produced a positive outcome for the patient. This type of behavior is a daily practice for Jennifer and we feel very grateful to work with such an amazing individual.
