Jen's compassion and kindness touched a family member today. A family member was grappling with the impending loss of a loved one. Jen took it upon herself to encourage the patient's wife to accompany her downstairs during the Christmas party in the Main Tower. At first, the wife looked uncomfortable, but she quickly perked up and began smiling and taking pictures of Santa and the festivities. At the end of their time together downstairs, the family member looked relieved and said she was glad she had come. It was nice to witness a true act of kindness during someone's unimaginable time during the Christmas season.
