Jennifer Vanhooser, RN, BSN, RNC-NIC

Jennifer has been outstanding in every moment of caring for our twin daughters. She has included us in every care time, made sure to share every little detail and allow us to ask all the questions. She explained the big words, gave us realistic timelines, comforted us when we had setbacks, gave us steps to look forward to and every moment in between. Jen showed us kindness, compassion and patience every shift. When we brought our other children, she loved on them and made them feel welcomed and seen rather than making them feel like a burden. She has been encouraging of our breastfeeding journey, going above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and taken care of and that I have all I need to nurse our girls successfully. This has been one of the toughest seasons of our life and I truly believe Jennifer has played a huge role in keeping me sane. Jennifer deserves more recognition than she could ever receive, she truly is a huge asset to the Riley Hospital and displays every characteristic that Riley stands for. Our family has been very blessed to be cared for by her!
