Our son had his tonsils removed and the recovery care was exceptional. His nurse was Jen and she really stood out as someone who is committed to patient care. She was patient, thorough, and very person-centered in letting our son drive what he was feeling ready for. She did a great job using age appropriate techniques to get him eating, up and moving when he was ready, and encouraging him throughout the process. Overall, she demonstrated what every parent hopes for when their child is in the care of someone else. This should not go unrecognized.
