I was in North Carolina due to a family crisis. During that time, my husband ended up in the emergency room and required emergency surgery.  I requested that Jennifer, in pre-and-pacu, take care of my husband.  I had experiences with Jennifer and felt she would take excellent care of my husband.  I was so far away, but Jennifer took the time to update me and took excellent care of my husband. She went above and beyond in updating me several times, making sure the surgeon had my cell phone number and could call me after the procedure.  I cannot begin to tell you how much it meant to me that Jennifer let me know when he went into surgery, when he came out, and how he was doing at each phase.  She ensured he didn't send his driver home because he felt he would be "just fine" to drive himself home.  My heartfelt thanks go out to Jennifer for being there when I couldn't be and setting my heart at ease in a difficult situation.  Your thoughtful updates and kind words made me feel like I was outside the room.
