I went to the ER. I had never experienced this before. I was scared and my mind was conjuring up all sorts of diagnoses. Jennifer Werner was the RN caring for me. From the time she and I met, I felt calmer. She assured me everything was going to be okay and she would be with me through my stay and she was. She explained everything and was always reassuring me. I felt like her becoming an RN is exactly what her calling in life is.

I remained calm and felt so secure with her there or right down the hall. I almost felt like we were good friends by the time I left. She told me to call or come back if I had any questions or concerns. I really did not want to say good-bye. I hope if I ever have to go back, I hope she is on duty. She is a very special person in a very trying job. She deserves recognition for her compassion and knowledge. Any patient she cares for will be so blessed to have her caring for them.
