My Nurse Jenny has always made me smile and happy even on the worst of my chemotherapy days. Her stories and kind words comforted me. The calm of her voice, her gentle hands kept me from hurting.
Now, after all my chemo is done and I come back for check-ups, Jenny is the voice of re-assurance. I hear her telling me I look amazing and she hugs me tight. My mom calls it her "good bedside manners." I call it "her being an Angel on earth."
Even when my mom got sick on one of my treatment days, Jenny walked with us (wheeled my mom) to the Emergency Room.
I feel Jenny really deserves this award.
