After having already spent a couple of months in the unit, it seems to me that designating a single person is the equivalent of choosing a favorite superhero. I feel the entire staff protected me. However, Nurse Jenny stands out for her sincere and honest kindness, her professionalism, her extreme respect for me and all my relatives who have come to accompany me. Being on dialysis is very hard, and it is an experience that has caused me deep pain in my soul and Jenny has been able to capture the pain I feel and offer me comfort and contention when I needed it most.
Not to mention her delicacy by puncturing my fistula and her concern for my physical pain.
