Jenny stands out as an outstanding nurse because of her ability to provide empathetic care even for the most difficult patients. She cares so deeply for her patients and their families that their small triumphs are her triumphs and their sorrows her own. Jenny is someone that all staff can turn to for help and advice and she is someone I would always want on my team to brave the storm during those hard days.

Jenny is so deserving of this award.  She cares for her own patients calmly and efficiently and in between takes care of her peers by answering lights, checking chemotherapy orders, or being available to answer questions about anything.  She is so approachable and willing to help always.

She is so kind and cares deeply for her patients.  I observed an interaction recently between Jenny and her patient and family.  The patient was not able to verbalize her thoughts and both the patient and her family are scared about the patient's situation.  Jenny had to do some care with the patient and throughout she talked calmly and did everything with gentle care.  I could tell that the patient and family had complete trust in her.  Though there were others helping, the patient had constant eye contact with Jenny, and the look on the patient's face was priceless.  It was lovely to watch.
