I was recently hospitalized at Campbell County Health due to scleroderma acute renal crisis. The state of my condition showed I needed dialysis and a blood transfusion. To the surprise of myself and the nurses, I experienced an adverse reaction to the transfusion. Starting with chills, lightheadedness, and shortness of breath, my reaction accelerated quickly to the point I passed out.

Jenny was fast to respond to stop the transfusion, stayed with me the entire time, and did everything she could to comfort me. She was caring and compassionate and held a calm demeanor. A second attempt at the transfusion was made under a more controlled environment in the ICU. It is my understanding that Jenny volunteered to be the nurse for me. A similar reaction occurred. Jenny's performance was once again, extraordinary! As a general observation, Jenny shows exemplary leadership among her peers and is always helping them and answering their questions. It is apparent that she is a skilled nurse and has earned the trust of her peers!
