March 2024 Honoree
Jenny Minacci, BSN, RN
I was life-flighted to Memorial Hospital. My hospital room was on 2 North. On the following Saturday and Sunday, my nurse, on multiple occasions, comforted me and gave me words of encouragement. On that Sunday, my defibrillator fired three times. After each event, Jenny helped me calm down and feel like I was going to live.
Immediately after one event, she held my hand and said, “One miracle at a time.” I have now been in the hospital six days and have repeated that phrase every day many times. Jenny’s compassion, encouragement, and genuine concern for me uplifted me and gave me the motivation to keep going. A simple “thank you” is not enough.

Thank you, Jenny, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
