Jenny truly is comforting, calm and communicative when patients and families are most vulnerable, exhibits clinical expertise and true essence of nursing, has significantly made a difference in a patient's life, provides compassionate nursing care while paying close attention to the emotional and psychological needs of her patients, extraordinary skill and kindness, selflessly rendered; an unsung hero, makes patients feel secure and confident in the care they receive, and listens with her heart, is passionate about work, and puts others' needs before her own.

Patient and family often sing Jenny's praises. She has a comforting, calming, confident, and compassionate sense that is easily imparted to her patients. She listens with her heart and follows up with patients and families after patients transfer off the unit. She has vast knowledge and expert clinical skills. She makes patients and families feel cared for through her wonderful communication and relationship building. I have watched her walk into a patient's room and the patient just "lights up". They know she is there for them!
