Jenny attended to me kindly and efficiently and truly made me believe in myself that I could do it.
I fell in my garage on Thursday and the pain was excruciating. Jenny was so caring with an extremely fun slant. She made me laugh. We always said, "It is what it is", may not recall everything exactly. My surgery was not Thursday because the OR was full. I was in pain and on meds an entire day. I don't remember when she came again. She was so realistic and listened to my babbling that I'm sure was distracting. She made me feel cared for without being gushy or overly phony. It was what it was and nothing could change that but my strength and perseverance which she saw in me. She attended to me kindly and efficiently and truly made me believe in myself that I could do it. The hardest part in my case that I had been planning an out-of-state move later that month. I was most definitely sticking to that date. She didn't tell me I was nuts/crazy like my friends and relatives did. Of course being the excellent, skilled nurse that she was, she didn't really recommend it, which I understood. Her encouragement and praise for my progress were heartwarming again without being gushy. She was down to earth and real. We laughed about menus and how futile it was to fill them out. She is an asset to her profession.
