My 1-year-old was just recently diagnosed with Hand Foot and Mouth; we were informed by our doctor to treat with ibuprofen/Tylenol as needed. At the time of seeing an MD, he had only mild symptoms. Over the course of the night my son had gotten worse rash/sores had covered his body, had a fever of 102 and wouldn’t eat or drink, and was whimpering in discomfort. I called our local clinic in hopes that there had to be something that could make my little boy feel better. I left a voicemail. Miss Jenny called me back fairly quickly and reassured me she was going to find some answers for not only me but find something that was going to make my son feel better. After several calls back and forth, Jenny was not giving up. She continued to tell us “Don’t you worry, I’m going to find you some answers” and that she did. Jenny stayed at work late that night messaging our doctor trying to find a solution. Jenny, you’re not going unrecognized. My family and I can’t put into words nearly how appreciative we are of all your hard work. You rock; you are such a one-of-a-kind nurse.
