Jeramarie literally got me through the hardest day of my life.
Jeramarie was my nurse during my time in the Infusion Center. During my first chemo treatment, I was terrified. I cried most of the time I was there. I was a mess, tears running down my face, and mentally “checked out”. Jeramarie gently grabbed my hand and sat me down. She then looked me straight in the eyes and calmly told me “You are going to be okay; you will be able to get through this, just give yourself some grace” She was so reassuring, calming, compassionate, patient, and understanding. She literally got me through the hardest day of my life.
On my second day of treatment, Jeramarie wasn’t there but left me a card. I was so happy to get to my car afterward to open it. Not only was the card beautiful, but she also wrote me the longest, sweetest, encouraging message. Her incredible love and skill for her job and patients are what has helped me get through chemo. She without a doubt is the best of the best. She loves her job and made the scariest, hardest chapter of my life, so much easier. She’s a Saint!
