...My wife is an employee of the hospital and underwent surgery. Waiting, while your loved one is having surgery, can be a very concerning and frustrating time. However, this was not true in my case. I was kept informed quite frequently of what was happening before, during and after her surgery. This was due to a very caring surgical nurse by the name of Jeremy Heiser. He went as far as to notify me when the cafeteria would be open to make sure I was taken care of as well. I believe he went above and beyond in the care of my wife and keeping me informed. Please thank him for the wonderful care and I would like to nominate him for the DAISY Award. He was exceptional and needs to be commended as same.
