The patient was being provided end-of-life care in the Intensive Care Unit after battling cancer. Jeremy provided comfort and care to her in the last few days and hours of her life. Jeremy's gentle voice and caring touch were exactly what the family needed as she took her last breaths. His final act of kindness was to wash the patient's face speaking soft words to her in her final hour. Jeremy is truly a gift to the ICU Department. Anyone can go through the steps and check the boxes in a technical aspect of patient care; however, Jeremy puts his heart and tenderness in his care and service to others. He's outstanding.
