Jeri was successful in responding to a CMS audit of our AADE-accredited diabetes education program. In fact, they asked to take some of her templates to show other sites. Jeri has started and maintained several education programs across the reservation to give the people tools needed to keep from getting diabetes or get it under control. She leads several exercise programs such as a weekly class at the Kah-nee-tah natural spring pool. Jeri helps so many people in gaining control of their health by working with the complete family unit. She can be seen going down the hall and out the door pulling her suitcase of exercise equipment to the next class.
