Mrs. Jen is an exceptional nurse. Her kind heart, compassion, listening skills, and overall nursing skills are what make her amazing. During our time here at the hospital, she has made it so comfortable for my son and me. She treats him with such compassion and respect; I cannot say that for everyone. I can trust my son is in good hands when Ms. Jen is our nurse. She ensures my son is as comfortable as possible, making sure he is not soiled and is in a good position so he looks comfortable. My son has been in a coma state for the last three years, and to see how wonderful she is with him warms my heart. She treats him as the young man he is, not just a number. She makes sure to ask questions to make sure she is not harming him and that he is as comfortable as possible. She knows the long journey we have been on and has always made sure we are comfortable every time we are here. Words cannot describe the compassion and kindness she has, or how much we are grateful to her. She has always remembered the things my son enjoys and made him comfortable, as well as my family. I pray there are more nurses like her who make being at the hospital more comfortable for all. With her smile and grace, she brings a light to PICU. Thank you, Ms. Jen, for all that you do!!
