Jerry Bledsoe, RN
Jerry has been a blessing to work with during my time at the VA. He is always friendly, understanding, helpful, and compassionate toward patients and staff. One night we were boarding psyche patients in the Emergency Department and Jerry noticed that there wasn't hot food available for the patients and staff. He went to the Cookout restaurant and used his own money to buy meals for every Veteran to try and make their stay a little more comfortable. This is only one example of how he goes out of his way to take care of others. When I work with Jerry there is a bigger sense of working as a team. I'm so happy he is a part of our unit. I would like to recognize him for all of the hard work and compassion he brings to our unit.
