Franciscan Health is blessed to have Jerry Stancombe, RN, 6 West, practice nursing for 35 years. He was recognized for demonstrating our Franciscan values with a patient who was having a lot of struggles. As the patient was leaving, Jerry became aware that the patient did not have the means to obtain his much-needed medications after discharge. Jerry and his coworkers collected the money the patient needed to purchase these medications.
