Working in the home health field takes a truly patient and compassionate person. My father has dementia, which can be exhausting. He often forgets things, but he remembers Jersey. I live farther away than I would like, but Jersey takes time out of her day to update me. She answers my questions, and if she doesn’t know something, she’ll find out.

After witnessing a visit in person, I was amazed by her patience with him. I've never met someone so genuinely caring. Jersey created a calendar marking the days she’ll visit. During a heat wave, she even made an extra visit to check on him. She makes sure he’s eaten and helps him feed his dog. Jersey also stays on top of his wound care, leaving reminder notes in places he’ll see daily. She genuinely cares about her patients and goes above and beyond for them. Between caring for my dad and my children, I’ve been under a lot of stress. I can rest easier knowing this kind soul is checking on him.
