My husband had a retinal detachment that occurred on a Sunday morning. We met our regular eye doctor at his office at 10 am and received our diagnosis and by 11:30 we were meeting with Dr. H at his office to create a surgery plan. He decided emergency surgery was needed and he called in his on-call surgery team.

The whole team was absolutely amazing but Jesika was exceptional! She had such a great attitude even after being called in on a Sunday afternoon. She made sure to keep me updated every step of the way and then did an amazing job going over our discharge instructions in depth and answered all of our questions despite the fact I’m sure she was more than ready to go home and get back to her family. My husband felt so well cared for the whole time he was there and also raved about how her IV stick didn’t hurt a bit. We can’t say enough good things about the care we received from Jesika and the whole surgical team! Thanks for helping us out so much during a stressful day!
