Since Jesse has taken over as our Ward Manager, the atmosphere has changed. The staff is more willing to come work. This man has shown great knowledge and excellent leadership skills. He has shown me and others how to do things, given advice and directions, shown us human kindness, and is very approachable.

As a leader, he does not rely on hearsay or idly gossip, but investigates complaints to get to the truth and solve the problems. Jesse is doing his utmost best to use his skills and knowledge to guide our team to excellence which, given time, will happen.

I am a Senior Staff Nurse, and I have learned more from him in weeks than I have in two years. He values opinions and listens. Mistakes are made, and you learn from them and not point fingers or blame. These are some of the qualities he has given us. Not only am I nominating him for the DAISY Award, but I would also like to nominate him to remain as our manager so we can excel as a team.
