...My brother has unfortunately become a regular patient at the hospital. He is on the liver transplant list. I don't have to tell you how traumatic this has been for my brother and his family.

I met Jesse a few weeks ago and he has made my brother's life in the hospital almost bearable. He always has a smile for all of us and his skill as a nurse is quite amazing. Jesse lights up the room when he walks in and he is always ready to talk with family members on the phone. I always request Jesse for my brother when he is working his floor.

My brother is not a very good patient. He is afraid and very demanding. Jesse is always there for my brother and makes him feel so special. Jesse always takes the time to explain things to my brother and that is so very important to a person that is in the bed feeling helpless.

Jesse is special. An angel. Please let him know that there are families and patients that really appreciate his work ethic. He has been my sunshine these last few months.
Sometimes, when I see Jesse walk in my brothers room I can almost see angel wings. I don't know how Jesse hides them.
