Oh my, this is going to be hard for me to truly put into words the depths of nurse/patient care, so I will try to do my best by defining the situation.

I hadn't slept in almost 3 days and couldn't get the doctors to provide me with any medication option for sleep. Jesse called the doctors to give me melatonin.

But that was only the beginning. He treated me with such meticulous care at every nuance and step of my treatment needs. He monitored my IVs, medications, and retrieved items I may have wanted or needed.

But what was so remarkable about him was his genuine sincerity and personal investment and respect for me that I'm at a loss for words to truly give Jesse the true credit he deserves. From helping me to go to sleep, he maintained the same calmness throughout the night to assure that I slept well.

When my morning medications were due, I was awakened with this gentle and reassuring voice saying, "Good morning, you slept well". And I did for the first time in 15 years. I slept not only excellently, but also naturally without heavy sleep medications as I've needed all along.

I wish I could have this level of care everywhere I went. Jesse is an extraordinary nurse. Please get this message to him to tell him how eternally grateful I am and to keep spreading his goodness to others.
