Jesse Browning went above and beyond during clinical time with me. He has strong communication and teamwork skills. Many of my coworkers commented on this student's outstanding teamwork. Jesse is caring and our patients were impressed by him. One specific patient kept thanking Jesse for being so sweet. We had a patient pass away while on comfort care. Before he passed, Jesse continued to talk to him and tell him we were working to control his pain. He stood by to help comfort the family during this critical time. The family was very grateful. Jesse exemplifies everything a nurse should - especially compassion and a hunger for learning. This student would even stay late if there was something to help with. I feel that he would do well in the ICU, so much so, that I recommended him for hire to my clinical manager and Jesse was offered a position. I would never recommend someone that I wouldn't be willing to work alongside.
