I really want to recognize Jesse Rhea this weekend. We had two admissions on Friday. One of our admissions ended up coming in with a family member who also appeared sick to Jesse. She said to me, "something just doesn't look right with him". After taking a blood pressure on the family member Jesse urged him to go to Piedmont.
She not only urged him, but she walked him over there. As it turns out the patient's family member had incurred a stroke he was unaware of. I commend Jesse for all that she did for this man and her potentially lifesaving "strong suggestion". So grateful to work with so many great people here at our Shepherd Center.
