Jesse, "Nurse of the year" to my mother, was absolutely the most kind, understanding, patient, and gentle nurse I have ever met. Hospitals are generally stressful atmospheres, and understandably so. But Jesse somehow managed to calm my 79-year-old mother (who has never been in the hospital in her life). She was terrified of coming to the hospital, she could barely breathe and didn't want to relinquish her independence. Jesse began working with her, calmed her down immediately, and even had her joking. Because of COVID-19 family members are forced to be away from the patient. This is heartbreaking for the patient and family member but Jesse made this experience bearable for my mother. I sincerely appreciate his medical expertise and I am grateful for the caring and loving way he implemented it.
