From the first night I arrived, Jessi has always been a bright light in my day. Jessi is always smiling and cheerful, and that positive attitude truly radiates good vibes onto all who come in contact with her. I believe she goes above and beyond for her patients without hesitation. We inquired about a couch for my daughter to sleep on the first night I arrived via the ER. She explained that all of the couches were in use, but that she felt confident in securing one for us the following day. Jessi had a couch brought into my room hours later, in the middle of the night. We were pleasantly surprised of what she accomplished so quickly for my daughter's comfort, rather than waiting until the next day. I have been what you might consider a high-maintenance patient. Having a bed alarm on and also needing to get up frequently due to an infection, can be time-consuming for a nurse. Add in additional needs and most nurses would no longer have that cheerful attitude. Trust me, I know, but not Jessi. She continues to treat me with compassion and a bright smile on her face. Jessi is that unique nurse who can make you feel as if you are the only patient in the hospital, and that is a true gift! Having a nurse like Jessi on the oncology floor is a wonderful asset.
